What is .Net Framework and why do I need it to run XoomCRM toolbars?

.Net Framework is provided by Microsoft and is required by most software applications you run today. Software written for the .Net Framework is more stable, contains better security and runs faster. .Net Framework is highly recommended by Microsoft.

XoomCRM toolbars, like most software applications running on Windows environment, requires .Net Framework. To be specific, .Net Framework version 2.0 or higher. For many of our users, .Net Framework 2.0 or 3.0 is already installed due to another application they have installed or are on Windows Vista which comes with .Net Framework 3.0. These users are not asked to install .Net Framework version 2.0 when installing XoomCRM toolbars.

For those users who are on .Net Framework 1.x or simply do not have it installed, XoomCRM will ask you to upgrade to version 2.0 or install version 2.0. Because of the advantages that comes with the .Net Framework and is required by XoomCRM application to run on your PC, it is highly advised that you install the .Net Framework when prompted by the XoomCRM toolbar installer.

Automated Reminder feature can improve your productivity!

For many of our users, Xoom for Outlook performs an invaluable assistance in reaching out to important contacts. One way to better manage your contacts is to set up birth day and important date reminders for your contacts. In doing so, you can manage more contacts with less effort. Don't miss out on an easy call or email like your contact's birthday!

To use this feature, go to the contact/email you want to set reminders for and open Contact News screen (you can get there by clicking on Contact News button on the toolbar). Then select Edit Interests tab. On the left side of the Edit Interests screen, you will see 3 different options for setting reminders. Set Contact Reminders, Auto Birthday Reminders and/or Holiday reminders.

Again, use this feature to not miss an easy and relevant contact opportunity with your clients and prospects.

The good old days...

I remember the good old days when sales professionals used to take important customers out to the ball games, dinners and buy them gifts to maintain and grow relationships. Those days are pretty much gone. Partially, it's because most companies have policies regarding accepting "gifts" from vendors. Mostly, it's because sales professionals are being asked to handle more and more prospects and clients without increase in support.

What's the solution? Personally, I think its combination of technology and leveraging the most important asset you have – knowledge about your clients. The key is to create relationship based on things that are IMPORTANT FOR THE CLIENTS rather than important to the sales professionals. A good sales person knows to keep their client's interests always in front of their own. "Take care of your clients and the business will take care of itself".

Technology helps you do this for more than just the top 10% of clients. It can help with all the clients. Sales process (and in many respect policies that govern sales) has evolved and the demands put on the sales professionals increased dramatically. Sales professionals are working harder than ever to keep up. More than ever, it's about working smarter, not harder. XoomCRM technology was created to bridge the gap between the sales professional and the clients and allow relationship building to happen easily and efficiently. Use the knowledge you have about your clients and let XoomCRM toolbars to the work for you!

5 steps in building lasting and rewarding relationships with your clients and prospects

It's amazing how important frequent and relevant communication is in building relationships with your clients and prospects. Why is it that some of your contacts respond to your calls and emails while others simply ignore them? It has been shown through studies and real world examples that the strength of relationship is the key factor. Here are five steps you can follow in building better relationships with each of your contacts.

Step 1: Put the client's needs first. If you focus on your client's success, your own will follow.

Step 2: Help your client network and succeed. It never hurts to do a client a favor above and beyond the call of business, and it's something the client remembers.

Step 3: Keep in contact with your client. Friendly phone calls, tips and informative newsletters can help your client remember you. Don't forget small gifts.

Step 4: Don't make promises you can't keep. You're better off exceeding expectations than disappointing a client by eagerly promising something you can't do.

Step 5: Communicate. If a project runs into problems, let your client know as soon as possible that so alternative plans can be made if necessary.

Since the launch of Xoom for Outlook and Xoom for ACT! less than a year ago, thousands of users have been able to automate the frequent and relevant communications with their clients and prospects. It's one thing to follow a process but if you can use a tool like XoomCRM toolbars to automate that process, you can actually execute on the process and achieve success. Check out XoomCRM toolbars at www.xoomcrm.com and see how easy it is to build lasting relationships with your clients and prospects.

Relationship Building 101

As the landscape of business becomes more competitive, those business professionals who can distinguish themselves and their service levels will be the ones who prosper. The need for frequent, more communicative dialogue between Client and Business Professional is at it's greatest point, and yet the average business professional today makes only 5.9 outbound client calls per day. In order to properly service hundreds of clients, they need to make at least 15. The average Client is personally contacted less than 3 times per year, when research shows that Clients need at least nine (9) touches to feel highly serviced (highly serviced clients provide 90% of all referrals). It's no wonder that the number one reason Clients leave is because they feel ignored! The correlation between client contact and success is direct. As business professionals, we MUST ask ourselves if we are communicating at a level which matches their desire to succeed. In almost every instance, the answer to that question is no. The obstacle in making effective client calls is usually not our "busy-ness" but in our lacking interesting, personal, relevant reasons to engage each of our Clients. At XoomCRM, we understand the problem. Our company is made up of successful business professionals with former lives as Advisors at large Financial Institutions, Accounting firms, Software sales, Professional Services provider, etc. We use our experience to create communication tools for Advisors that leverage the knowledge you have about your clientele so you can turn it into reasons to call Clients. Our tools fit directly into your workflow, and let you easily engage the number of Clients you need to in order to maintain a satisfied and helpful clientele. Come and see what XoomCRM is all about. The level of your success is about to go up.
